I have the more or less the same feelings you are experiencing... but for my father who is dying for terrible form of blood cancer. Loss is something deeply against our nature of human beings.

Sorry for your pain. No amount of words will make you feel better. Time heals all wounds. About your painful memories, we all have skeletons we carry about. Shakespeare said it best about alcohol "how strange it is that a man should put an enemy into his mouth" Keep your chin up kiddo. I know it hurts to but the pain you feel will eventually pass...

I'm right there with you Rose. Right now I must let *her* go free and have space/time.. but there is no guarantee she will ever be coming back.

It is incredibly hard and painful to be in such a situation I know.. and regret/doubt/anger will destroy you if you let them.

Assuming you've spilled your heart and guts to him.. the best thing to do now is give the space, think positively and try to survive the best you can. I know it's so hard when you feel that person is "the one" :(

I made a very similar mistake some years ago...and I felt as you do now. The best that can be done is to give him his time. If he comes back then he does, but if not then there are better plans for you. :hug:

It's a hard thing to do, but you just have to trust that whatever happens in your life is for the best..even if it's painful :(
